This is the "Evil Easter Bunny " 2003.
It is a 6' tall ink/polimer wash painting with acrylic/polimer washes on top. The result is much more similar to a drawing than my other paintings. I stretched the canvas on super thin strips of poplar, to get the edges to bulge. It is more noticable in person than this image conveys.
This painting was inspired by a reoccuring nightmare I had when I was in Kindergarden. In Slidell, LA we lived in a log cabin house, and I had several holiday themed nightmares. I was convinced the log-cabin was haunted.
